Wine 101 with Ben

We have a new distributor at The Cellar Wine Bistro name Ben Probst-Renaud of Magda Wines and he is bringing us all Natural Wines. We have long been a fan of producers who practice organic, biodynamic and/or natural winemaking practices, and this is where Ben really shines. He is going to tell us all about the wines and the stories of how they came into being. Chef Ethan will pair appetizers with the wines we taste. $25/person, 6pm start time. Every Wednesday, all night, The Cellar has list of wines we feature for $5/glass. The list changes each week so come in and see what we are pouring!
The Cellar Wine Bistro will be open through Saturday, December 21st and closed from December 22 through the 26th. We will reopen for the weekend of December 27 and 28. We will then be closed December 29 to January 2 and will reopen January 3rd and 4th. Happy Holidays!
Holiday Wine Tasting
It’s that time of year! The Cellar Wine Bistro’s annual holiday wine event will be on November 25th this year, just in time to choose some delicious bottles of wine for you holiday parties. We will be serving up tastes of some lovely Sparkling, Red, and Dessert Wines and you can purchase your favorites for carry-out. $15/person, no reservations needed. Bring your friends!

Cellar 422 Becomes The Cellar Wine Bistro
Cellar 422 has moved up Main Street to a newer, larger and better location at 1001 Main. We have been busy for the last couple of months getting it all ready to serve you, our loyal customers, delicious food and wine, as always. While the remodeling is wrapping up, permits are being processed. Watch for updates on opening around the third week of August. Thank you for your patience!
Cellar 422’s Last Night @ 422 Main
Come out this weekend and celebrate our last night at the 422 Main Street location! There will be lots of laughter, fun, and wine specials. We will be opening at a new location on 1001 Main Street by the first of August. If you are a Wine Club member, it’s a great opportunity to pick up your wine before we make the move. Celebrate Spring Rosé Night!
Come celebrate Spring at Cellar 422 on Monday, May 6 from 5 to 8pm and usher in the new crop of Rosés! We will have a few of our wine reps on hand pouring several new, delicious ones to taste. Jigar Wines Night – Tasting with the Winemaker
Mark your calendars and don’t miss the opportunity to get to taste with Purdue grad and Jigar Winemaker Josh Bartels. Josh will be on hand from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, March 12 to taste us through all of our favorite Jigar wines and talk about the winery and its practices. Free to the public, no reservations necessary.

Cellar 422 is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day! This is a night for love so Chef Ethan has designed an Italian themed menu. We will do two seatings for the evening, 6:00 and 8:00pm, $50/person. Suggested wine pairings by the bottle or glass are additional.
