Wine Tasting with Michelle

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, January 29 from 5 to 8 pm. We will be doing a fun and informative wine tasting featuring four of our Reserve Menu wines. This will be like a Wine 101, but more informal. Michelle will be going over all the geeky stuff about the wines, talking about the producers, their practices, their stories and, of course, we will be tasting the wines! No reservations necessary, fee TBD.
Devil’s Trumpet Beer Tasting

Wondering what to do on a Tuesday night? If you or your SO, friends, mother, brother (you get the idea) like checking out new brews, come to Cellar 422 on Tuesday, February 5th from 6 to 8pm and meet Chris Pearson from Devil’s Trumpet Brewing Co. in Merrillville, Indiana. Chris will be tasting us on several of the beers they brew and talking about the brewery. Great opportunity to check out a brewery you may not have heard of and you don’t even have to leave Lafayette!

Thursday, January 17, 6 to 9pm come out to Cellar 422 to hear our own sweet Claire Tchoula from Sheeza! perform her own original music including some awesome new songs! Come early, find a seat, order some dinner and wine, sit back, relax and enjoy!
Shop Small Saturday November 24
Cellar 422 will be participating in the Shop Small Saturday event by offering 15% off all carry-out wines by the bottle. So come out on November 25th, brave the cold, and support your local downtown businesses and while you are at it reward yourself with a bottle or two of wine at a great discount! We have gift bags as well, so you can get a jump start or your holiday shopping!

Holiday Bubbles and Beyond
It’s time for the Cellar 422 annual Holiday Wine Event! This is a great opportunity to come out and taste some Sparkling Wines, Luscious Reds and Dessert Wines to purchase and have on hand for holiday gatherings, gifts, personal stash, you name it. $15/person, no reservations required. Wine 101 – Reserve Wine Tasting
Postponed from October, this Reserve Wine Tasting/101 will be featuring wines from our Reserve Wine List. Lee Arnold from Vanguard will be discussing the wines and Chef Ethan will expertly pair appetizers. Four wines with apps and one bonus wine! $30/person, reservations required by calling 765-746-6754.
Wine 101 Class
Time for Wine 101 Cellar Friends and Winos! Eric Butler from Crossroads Vintners will be presenting Pinot Noir from around the world. This will be a fun and very unique Wine 101 because we will be comparing five different Pinots from vastly different locations. You will truly get to see how climate, terroir, elevation, viticulture and many other factors can affect a single varietal. As always, Chef Ethan will be pairing a delicious appetizer to compliment the wines. The cost is $25/person and you must call 765-746-6754, or come in to reserve your seat. Celebrate with Cellar 422!
The weekend of September 14th marks three years that the Cellar Girls have been serving up great wine and food! We couldn’t have done it without all of you, our loyal customers. To show our appreciation, we are pouring a complimentary glass of bubbly for every customer on Friday and Saturday night. Chef Ethan will be rolling out his Fall menu that week, so all the more reason to come celebrate with us. Thank you for your continued support. Cheers!
Mini Wine 101 with Jason Minix
Make your reservations now for Tuesday, August 14, 5:30 to 6:30pm, for a mini Wine 101. Our amazing friend, super-duper wine guru and former Lafayette resident Jason Minix @thedrunkenpeasant, will be here at Cellar 422 to present a class he first taught at the California State Fair this year entitled “Wine without Pretense.” We will be tasting through a few wines and the kitchen will be open for those who wish to purchase food. Cost is $15 for the wines and the class and you must register ahead by calling 765-746-6754. Doors open at 5pm. Great opportunity for all you wine lovers, novice or seasoned.

Cellar 422 will open at 6:30pm on Tuesday, August 14 immediately following the Wine 101 class (reservation only) at 5:30pm.
Closed on July 4
Cellar 422 will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in order to give our staff an opportunity to celebrate with family and friends. We will reopen as usual on Thursday at 5:00pm. Thank you!
