Mini Wine 101 with Jason Minix
Make your reservations now for Tuesday, August 14, 5:30 to 6:30pm, for a mini Wine 101. Our amazing friend, super-duper wine guru and former Lafayette resident Jason Minix @thedrunkenpeasant, will be here at Cellar 422 to present a class he first taught at the California State Fair this year entitled “Wine without Pretense.” We will be tasting through a few wines and the kitchen will be open for those who wish to purchase food. Cost is $15 for the wines and the class and you must register ahead by calling 765-746-6754. Doors open at 5pm. Great opportunity for all you wine lovers, novice or seasoned.
Latest and Upcoming Events
We are right in the middle of the Streetscaping Project and will be getting a patio with lots of outdoor seating, hopefully by mid-August. We are open for inside dining, however, so please feel free to come spend an evening with us and check out the progress while you dine.
The Cellar Gang Is Taking a Break
We will be taking some vacation time from July 19 - 27, returning on Tuesday, July 28.
Let's Dine In!
The Cellar Wine Bistro will be re-opening for dining in service on Tuesday, June 16 at 5:00pm. Chef Ethan is rolling out his summer menu and we will have a new 'Wines By The Glass' menu, as well. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended, but not necessary. Keep in mind that street-scaping is happening, so parking can require you to walk a few extra steps, but once we have outdoor seating it will all be worth it. We look forward to seeing you all soon!
